The Auburn University Agricultural Alumni Association will be hosting the first of an annual series of social scholarship fundraisers this fall. Our inaugural event is set for the evening of Friday, October 23, 2015 and will take place in beautiful Agriculture Heritage Park at the Alabama Farmers’ Pavilion in Auburn, Alabama. We welcome you to join us and become part of this annual fall tradition.
Through this event we hope to increase the scholarship fund for students in the College of Agriculture with all net proceeds from the event going directly to scholarships. Your support of this event will not only help a meaningful cause but will also help raise awareness of the importance of agriculture and the college.
This year our theme for the social is “Pork & Cork.” The format of the event will be to provide a relaxing fall evening setting to enjoy great food, drinks, music and company on the grounds of Agriculture Heritage Park. Local chefs will be serving small plate pork based dishes complimented by drinks from local wineries, breweries and distilleries. Chefs will also be utilizing locally farm raised pork from our Auburn University Meats Lab for this event.
We will be selling a limited number of tickets for the social at $50 a ticket. We hope that you will join us by supporting this inaugural event and help us develop the social scholarship fundraiser series into a fall tradition that the community looks forward to supporting each year.
